One Lighting Setup Made Easy - Studio & On Location (Early 2025)

Join me for an intimate learning experience on One Lighting Setup for Photography. I will teach you multiple ways to work with just one light. These classes are for beginner to intermediate-level photographers, looking to expand their portfolio and grow their confidence in the studio.

*Non-refundable retainer of 50% down is due upon reserving your seat. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before the workshop.

This one-day workshop is your opportunity to introduce yourself to new techniques, and learn multiple ways to work with one light that will expand your knowledge, creativity, and control! If you want to have your mind filled with more knowledge and techniques… this is for you!

We will work with professional models, so you will also walk away with many striking images!

Itinerary

9:00 am - 09:45 am: Meet & Greet, Models get their makeup done and Explain (lighting equipment, light modifiers, and triggers)

9:45 am - 10:00 am: Review the lighting setups that will be covered.

10:00 am - 12:45 pm: Hands-on lighting setup with models.

12:45 pm - 1:00 pm: Studio Cleanup

1:00 pm - 01:45 pm: Lunch Break (on your own or as a group)

1:45 pm - 2:00 pm: Meet at Photowalk Location

02:00 pm - 05:00 pm Hands-on lighting setup with models.

Post-Photowalk Gathering: After the photo walk, I’ll be available for about an hour to grab a quick bite at a local spot (to be determined on the day based on what's open and nearby). Everyone is welcome to join us for a relaxed and enjoyable time together.

(Please note: Attendees are responsible for their own food and beverages.)

TERMS

IMAGE USAGE: All images taken can be used in your portfolio (online and social platforms). The models have rights too, so you can’t use the images commercially, to advertise photo shoots, or promote anything that is a professional service or product. You would need a model release to do that and you won’t have one.

CANCELLATION: Free cancellation more than 7 days before the workshop. Otherwise, all sales are final.

DEPOSITS: A 50% deposit or full payment is due to secure a spot. The balance is due two weeks before the workshop date.

REQUIREMENTS: You must have fun, ask questions, learn, and make new friends!
